How siphonic roof drainage works
Siphonic roof drainage uses the principle of negative pressure.
Unlike traditional gravity systems, which draw in air, Akasison siphonic roof outlets are designed to prevent air entry once submerged. As the intensity of the rainfall increases, the pipework fills rapidly with water, creating a vacuum that removes rainwater from the roof at high speed.
